Guy at the petrol station the other day told me not to swipe my Tesco clubcard, and just swipe my Tesco credit card as he said I'd get more points that way. IS THAT RIGHT?
Or should you swipe your clubcard and then swipe your credit card?

Your Credit Card should be registered as a Club Card too. One swipe - all the points.
Fill up on points at Tesco. Use a Clubcard Credit Card to pay for your fuel at Tesco Petrol Filling Stations¹ for an even better points deal. You'll collect 5 points for every £4 you spend - that's twice what you'd get with a standard Clubcard.

Yeah that's what I thought but on my clubcard statement it doesn't seem to tally. £30 worth of fuel is only giving me 21 points (that's a guess off the top of my head).

I think you only get 1point for £2 on petrol iirc

He's right. You get extra points for paying on your credit card...same applies in store.
