Recently moved onto Sky BB and seem to be getting a very slow actual download speed versus what my router says it's receiving. The router stats say 2144kbps downstream connection yet I'm only getting 50kbps actual speed when downloading files. There's a line attenuation of 52db and noise margin of 5.5db, is that lots of noise on the line?
Anyone got any ideas?

Well I don't know anything about sky but I would guess the attenuation is quite high, are you a long way from the exchange? Considering that, your noise margin is very low. I would guess there's some interference going on somewhere. Have you tried testing at different times of the day? If it's consistently poor then yoiu might well need to get an engineer to test the line.
