Mrs 100th has a significant birthday next year and I'd off to the grand depart she fancies hospitality. Which is best start or finish? Anyone got experience of it? Not cheap but more achievable than the helicopter following I almost offered to pay for.

I’d say the start.If you get access to the Riders compound, then it’s a good place to be, with lots of time to wander around. At the finish, most riders just want to get back to their bus and get away.

I note that Stage 11 starts and finishes in Toulouse.
