Mysterious amount of cash deposited in my account. Is this my tax refund? I thought it would take longer. Anyone else?
Mine came via a nice fat cheque.
I gave bank details, just wasn't expecting anything so soon. Enough for a new frame there! must. not. spend...
im curious - where do the tax folk lift your address from ? as i got a refund last year from 2 years previous to an address i didnt give out - stayed registered at my parents for everything.
i ask as i think i may be entitled to one this year but worried it will go to the wrong address.
I got a lovely big cheque on friday 😀
I got a nice cheque a few weeks ago followed two weeks later by a tax code for next year.
Apparantly I owe them the same value as the cheque for 'underpaid tax from a previous year that I may remember them mentioning'.
HMRC are complete and utter idiots
Gave them my bank details for my SA refund and it landed 5 days later.
*Goes to check account.
