Want something that's fairly easy to use, reliable, comes with maps for the whole of the UK, but also be used in other countries (downloadable maps or whatever), can do 7 character post codes, and perhaps a bit of traffic and such info.
Don't have much of an idea on budget at the moment.
So what's good?

Tomtom is probably the favourite & it's certainly the best 'supported' when it comes to maps

We've a TomTom Europe that works great, but I've recently changed to a new phone (Nokia E71) and this has GPS and maps with the full SatNav functionality - so maybe another option?

I use both Garmin and TT and TT any day.
