I'm trying to take a picture of this without getting something reflected in it. I want to take it face on.
Tried indoors, outdoors ,in the dark ,in our photo cube and failing miserably.
Help a numpty.

Using a polariser at the front of the lens will work

you need no bright light behind YOU, that's what's reflecting. Unfortunately you need the light to illuminate the picture. As said, a polariser is what you need

You'll need to photoshop the signature on if you use Roger's cheat.

Take the photo with the glass removed from the frame. Or use a polarising filter.

Replace the glass with non-reflective 🙂

On Android phones there's a good app called photoscan. Takes multiple pictures and stitches them together. Pretty descent at removing reflection. Sure iPhone will have an equivalent.

Stand the box up so the picture is upright, facing a wall (not a window).

Lateral thinking 👍

Though they are difficult to get hold of this close to the summer solstice

My top tip is to close the curtains 😛

Circular polariser.
Stand at an angle rather than head-on.
Do whatever witchcraft RM did.

Take the photo at an angle and correct perspective/keystoning in Photoshop etc.

He stole a picture off the website, which I did but the cyclists are blurred.

face picture out of direct light or close the curtains - substitute in a soft lamp either side eg not an angle poise and be prepared to play around with settings for white balance etc.
Or get a polarising filter..

Polarising filter - or your polarised sunnies / riding glasses if you want to give that a go.

take it out of the frame

Is the correct answer. Much easier of course of it’s a clip-in frame.

Diffuse light. Either bounce a light source off a couple of white walls at 45° to the object, or hang a white sheet in front of the light, move the object until it is completely in the 'shadow' of the sheet. Variations on that.

Depends what it’s for and what quality you want.

But I’m going for ‘take out the glass’ as simplest for most needs.
