Ok there ive a mate who is wanting a t5 5 speed gearbox , anybody know where there is recon box to be had ? Cheers

Is that a Borg Warner T5 box you are after. If it is try Pistonheads TVR forum, Chimaeras and Griffiths used the T5 box on many cars.

Do you mean a VW T5 gearbox, a Volvo T5 or a Borg Warner T5?
VW T5 are not cheap, even scrapyard ones

TRy the VW forums - Bikeyard and VWT4, also there is a VW Audi forum - you may get more joy.
Your mate should do some digging to see if a T4 1.9D gearbox could be made to fit a T5 - same(ish) engine so maybe same (ish) box.
