I could be tempted I think. Will depend on how soon I can get out of work though. You got a contact method? My e-mail is in profile.

Possibly if you're prepared to accommodate a badly unfit man on a SS shakedown ride - which may go wrong and need a degree of fettling. Will there be frequent stops for [s]getting my lungs back inside my chest[/s] chatting?

1pm sounds reasonable to me. Would ride in from the Maultway side, so would also drop off to go back that way before it gets dark.

Damn fine, we can do cake as well as chats if we all bring some.

OK to meet at car park still?

Spoke too soon last night - list of jobs from Mrs THM this morning is formidable. No chance of making a 12:00 RDV, sorry. Have fun and another time.

Merry Christmas too.

Lets hope so... because he can find the Corkscrew and i've been curious about the entry line he was struggling with as i'm sure it was the one i used to ride in about 2009, but i've not ridden that entry for many years, so wouldn't mind seeing if i've got the balls to take it on 🙂

Brilliant ride that 🙂

Love Swinley... it's just ace.

THM, we found and did your drop/entry... I admit it was a little "ooooh, hmmm" but then Theotherjonv did it, so i had to.. it was fine 🙂 less scary than you think 🙂

They've built a few jumpy/dropy bits on red 7 (the one after the gate to Crowthorne) which are also a little "oooooh" but again, not too bad.. despite a crap landing i survived 🙂

Top riding and chat though... He can ride that singlespeed that's for sure... very impressed !

Very enjoyable riding and chatting. Was more pleasant to be back on the silly bike than I thought, although both my lower back muscles are protesting heavily now - they always hurt when I'm out of practice, I guess they must be the ones that connect the gurning above to the knee mashing grinding below! And I'd forgotten how much the ginger vibrates up through a rigid rear end!

Shame THM couldn't make it, we'd have sorted the corkscrew entry easily. It really is nothing. Nor really are the new rock drops on Seagull, although I followed Weeksy with exactly the same squirrely landing technique. But as my mate Mick the Pilot says about heavy landings - can you use the bike / plane again tomorrow? In which case it was a good landing!

Right - I think a beer tonight.

Glad you had a good time. I was still doing jobs until about 15:00 🙁

I thought you were joking about not knowing the drop weeksy and that the reference to corkscrew was double meaning laughing that I had consumed a reasonable amount of Rioja last night!!

I am sure it's (the drop - with all the chain marks in the roots on the lip) ok, but glad that you at least had to think about it. I don't feel a total wuss now !!

I was thinking about you as I was driving back with the Turkey as the weather had turned. Must have been q gloomy by deerstalker

Thanks for checking me again and sorry I missed the good ride!

was grey and miserable most of the ride but we avoided any wet stuff. Trails were amazingly dry too.
