I'm going to be contracting in the East Grinstead area for a few weeks and found there's a couple of walls local to me. Does anyone from here use the Crawley or Crowbrough walls, what are they like?
There's limited info on the web but the Evolution wall at Crowbrough looks abit dated and the High sport bouldering area looks small.
Any info would be great, thanks.

Crawley is shite
Better off nipping west to Craggy Island at Guildford - the walls there are amazing.

If it's purely bouldering you're after, +1 for Craggy Island but try Craggy2, just south of Sutton. No ropes and tons of route options

2nd boulderbrighton - more bits of lumpy plastic screwed to plywood attached to the walls at improbable angles than you can shake a stick at.

if bouldering craggy2 is ace.
if roped then craggy in guidford is fab as is white spider, although spider might be a bit of a longer way for you.
