Well, I guess there'll be constant darkness but I think the moon would be obscured by the armageddon thunderclouds

No mention of the "B" word, nope.

This transcends politics, and my attitude towards it.

This is way higher on my agenda.

Apparently Jesus is paying us a visit on Monday too.

The God one, not the footballer.

Hoping for clear skies here - and a wander up a hill by head torch...

Well not a lot to see up on Rushup Edge, apart from cloud.

It doesn't look much different to normal. When does it get super?

When there's a threat to world peace. Trump wins the presidency one week, supermoon the next. Coincidence? I think not.

I went over to a secluded beach, the clouds parted, the wind died and the Moon shone brightly over the sand and sea.

It wasn't huge mind, larger than more normal views but oh so clear and bright.

Tomorrow morning at something like 0450 is when it's at it's largest, I'll be on a train so might just be able to get a peak real early..
