Ian Robertson is just a utter tool, just heard him on the radio talking utter shite, how is he still employed by the BBC.

Great win for the Welsh U20's

Flash you will have to explain your dislike for the All Blacks and I am not talking about Neef.

SBW with another quality offload. Great game so far, some good hits and quality defence from Ireland.

A little more now.

Ireland seem up for it, but some sloppy tackling seems to be letting them down.

Slow starting indeed but bloody help Priestland cost us 10/14 points. Very disappointed with him and with the opening half full stop.

Priestland hasnt played well for a while. Not seen todays game but he has looked like he's carrying injuries for a while. No option to change either unless he plays v brumbirs on wednesday and hook comes in but then who plays 15 if norths broken?

Hook in at FH would be an improvement, definitely worth a go 'cos the Ausssies were there for the taking when the ball went wide. He was better than Priestland (he can catch 😉 ) in the time he had. Not difficult today though. Wales can play better and the series could still go either way.

I wory more for Ireland. The All Blacks were different class. The three new caps- Retallick, Smith, and Savea were brilliant. They didn't miss Brad Thorn, or Kahui and Jane. And Dan Carter playing again more than compensated for any others missing.

Guildford, SBW, Victor Vito and Hore dont excatly weaken the team

TBH, three of those are players that don't improve the team. Guildford's nowhere near Kahui or Jane when they're fit, and probably behind Savea now too. Thomson came on for Vito and improved things in the back row, but neither can match World player of the year Jerome Kaino. And Mealamu and Nonu were being rested but are unlikely to be replaced permanently by Hore or SBW. I'd say Elliot has more chance of hooking in the next WC. And Sonny Bill's an exciting player, but I wouldn't be surprised if they play Cruden at 10 and move Carter out to 12 ahead of him. They are brilliant, but this All Black team will get even better.

It was 3 each and Ireland were attacking witht he ball in hand when I posted that.

So AA - thats Scotland proven to be a better team than Wales then?

16-9 to S.A. England only holding on due to penalties. If Steyn could kick his goals S.A. would be out of sight.

EDIT: 16-12 🙂

That's a TJ FACT! It's OFFICIAL!

No point in arguing with that, is there? 😉

As much as I respect Farrells kicking, he's simply not a running fly half. You can't defend your way to international wins as per Saracens! He wasn't even first choice fly half at age group level, he shouldn't be starting ahead of Flood! With a decent fly half in there, Manu / Barritt are suddenly going to look a lot better as they'll be getting the ball in space and able to come in on it at pace.
Need to shore up that scrum as well - Marler was way out his zone!

🙂

can't argue with facts.

England were rather stodgy were they not - great stuff from the forwards in the first half disrupting and stealing ball but the backs did little with it. Needs creativity. What happened to Farrell? Seemed to disappear for long periods apart from getting into fights with forwards.

Barrit / tualagi is just not working. to much beef not enough champagne

Agree with that TJ. There are other good English centres (although I'd need to google the squad to see if they are in SA) who would work better.
Actually, farrell might be better in the centre (which is where he plays a lot for his club)

The obvious problems with England's backs during the 6 nations which to some extent have been ignored due to the teams relative success will now become more of a talking point. Farrel has not always been first choice ten at his club.

To be fair, England's defence was not bad, but the physicality of the boks was impressive, if predictable. They really fancied it, and on another day would have scored 3 more tries.

5 point game was about right.
Barritt, parling, Farrell, youngs, Johnson not good enough by today's example. Doran jones completely out of his depth.
England need a slippery inside centre, a fly half who has an attack setting and a SH with some flair. The forwards don't have enough menace, they need an archetypal English 2nd row in the team.

How was Botha? Always seems to be very busy doing nothing to me whilst Parling is ok. Need a big ugly ****er to go with Parling imo. And I reckon Flood is the player you need at ten.

Botha had a good game, parling largely anonymous. Im not sure who the right player at 10 is but I do know it's not Farrell. Youngs was even worse.
Barritt injured for saturday, which is good news for the team, could force SL into trying something which works.

Flood at ten for england, Ryan Jones, Rees, AW Jones and intrestingly Beck in for Wales. Like the look of Beck always reminds me of Will Greenwood.

In other news this is ****ing hillarious
