My wife is heading down there in a few weeks for her sisters birthday. Neither of them know Bournemouth so just looking for somewhere for a group of c.8 to have dinner. Price range would be equivalent of Jamie's / Cote. They intend to go out after so somewhere close to the main bars etc.

I don't eat in Bournemouth so can't give an y specific recommendations, but BH2 has recently opened and has the usual favourites clustered next the the Cinema/Gardens. As it is still fairly new everything is a bit shiny still 😉
There are bound to be better places, but at least thats a start for you/them
