Is anybody else having the same problem as me that STW forum pages crash on Chrome Beta, giving the "Aw, Snap!" page? If it happens, all the STW forum tabs open go at once rather than just one. Not really sure if it's just an issue with the Beta version or also something which happens with he release version, since I'd stopped coming to STW before I switched (I found myself having to kill Flash to give me back some CPU cycles so often that I gave up - the current Beta allows Add-ins which help a lot with this!) Fairly sure it's not any of the reasons Google suggest, as it's only STW I get the problem with.
just tried it now, seems fine to me. Very fast too. I'm on release 3.0.195.38 though. Multiple tabs, lots of clicking around, cpu and memory usage are low for chrome.
upgraded to beta, still no problems.
It doesn't happen all the time (otherwise I'd dump it), just occasionally, and usually when I've already got a few tabs open and opening another one. Still better than having to put up with Flash. So you may have to wait a while.
4.0.249.43 here and no problems at all. Flashdance 1.2.11.12 running too.
