Hmm, twas a bit icy and snowy but I commuted the 10 miles to work in Glasgow down the A roads and it only took an extra 30 mins, and that was mainly due to people being somewhat over-cautious. Having to commute down the M's must be horrible.
This was the M8 yesterday at about 10am - it got much worse after this and thankfully I got off before it got any worse and was able to get home via backroads.

Smug did not even come close to describing how I was feeling after yesterday's commute. All the buses were cancelled up to mine and I sailed up the hill on my ever-reliable singlespeed.

I've just noticed that the elevator is made by a company called Schindler, which makes it Schindler's lift.
I thought I was the only person in the world to have made that joke.
