We will be in touch
Lights went off in the garage last night while I was in there working on the bike. It's a twin strip light unit. I've turned all the power off, replaced one of the starters (not both, I thought there was only one on the unit) and it's all black on the glass inside. I turned the power back on and there's no light.
Both bulbs look fine with no discolouring but just wondering whether the right thing to do is go get new bulbs?
Any clues?
Even if a starter is knackered giving it a turn as if you are going to remove it with the power on will usually fire the tube. If both went off together it's either a ballast gone (there are probably two ballasts anyway, which would rule that out) or a wiring/power supply issue.
Sounds like I need to get someone to come and have a look. Thanks.
