I heard that on the way into work too....

Question is...

How do you shove that in your overcoat pocket and walk out....? ❓

The list of people with access to half the stuff 'missing' has got to be pretty limited.

People will be furious thieves can walk away

A nice and simplistic view of theft there - from a Liverpool MP!

Quite right TooTall, haven't they watched a single James Bond Film to see what extrodinary lengths these thieves will go to, to pinch our military hardware.

IME the culprits are usually wearing skimpy bikinis, orange boiler suits or an eye patch and panama hat. Some of them have Russian accents.

They must be due another catastrophic fire at the depot just outside Shrewsbury to mop up the rest of the stuff that's been lost or stolen over the last 5 years.

Well......not really. I was just thinking some of this stuff would be easier to move with a van.

Staff can drive on and off site with minimal checks, ration packs are resold on Ebay - guns are taken home without permission - it's all very lax. I've slept in MoD tents at Mountain Mayhem, borrowed for the WE!

...so maybe the stuff isn't stolen, just borrowed!
