Was thinking of buying one of these.
Any of you kind folk got any experience of them?
No experience of the Stihl (although I'm sure it is excellent) but it might be worth checking out the Husqy 122HD60 which is on offer everywhere since Husqvarna are bringing out a new one. Simillar bar length, displacement, power and weight as the Stihl but £100 less.
I've got over 500 metres of hedge to cut (double if you count the back I suppose) and I've found it to be great.
I bought it on the recommendation of a friend who is a gardener/landscaper who's had one for two years and tortures it day in day out.
Nice one. I'll check that out!
I have the 24" Stihl HS45 and have been using it in a biannual attempt at taming a few hundred metres of Leylandii. It looks like it produces a bit more power than the one you've linked to and has the same features.
Does the 56 have something specific that you need? If not, get the 45. Mine's been faultless.
