While searching for a spa near to where we might move I have become aware of steam showers.
I never knew they existed.
Who has one? The steam rooms in a spa have quite good seals and the steam stays where you want it.. The showers I've looked at just seem to have conventional shower doors.
Surely the steam ends up outside the cubicle?
I have seen a video with a plastic shed and 2 wallpaper strippers. Mrs Zip doesn't want that!

Needs to be part of a purpose built room really. Just a recipe for stink, mold and rot otherwise

I'm not going to be tricked into googling that again

Must surely cost a small fortune to run and maintain...it'll need very good sealing and probably extraction once done.

I like the idea but the practicalities make it a non-starter for me.

I would.like a fully sealed wet room as I can see that being useful for me to have and I suspect the maintenance of that would be easier...a step down into it from the door way and a fully sealed floor-walls-ceiling with ventilation/extraction. A shower with drain in floor would be handy as well.

Looks like I'm off to do some googling now!
