3rd attempt to post this question!

Has anyone used StartFitness website?
They have some running shoes I want to buy but I've not heard of them before.

They do appear to have a shop in Newcastle upon Tyne, which is a good sign, I only wish I'd realised when we were there last weekend!

Yeah - not for bike stuff but I did buy a pair of weightlifting shoes from them a few years ago and they seemed totally fine. Their shop in Newcastle is huge.

Bought a SC frame and reserve wheels from them.  They are a pretty big operation.

Bought loads from the shop but never online (I live just outside Newcastle so easier to call in) including my current frame, usually good on pricing and on the odd occasion I've returned stuff it's been hassle free

Yep, loads.
You can usually find a discount code for 10% as well.

Yeah, they are legitimate. Plenty of nice bikes, and socks, in their shop last time I had a look.

Ordered some discounted Burgtec Mk4 pedals from them one night, when the Mk5 first came out, they emailed in the morning to say sorry there was a stock problem and they didn’t have the Mk4’s but would I like the Mk5 instead for no extra charge.

Bought an MTB from them, only issue was they flipped the brakes levers to euro despite me asking not too (and to a European country that has the brakes the same as the UK).

Was an issue with the rear brake they resolved under warranty incredibly quick.

Great shop and staff.

Used them quite a few times and have been excellent each time. I also use sportshoes.com which have also been as equally as good.

I really rate start fitness, they've been really helpful in the past and tracked down a package that had gone AWOL.

This thread has nudged me over the line to buy some new running shoes from them (that fordyruns discount code helped)

Yeah, many, many times. Their MoreMile socks are some of the most comfortable and cheapest socks I've ever worn.
