It may be a crisp morning, but very clear and sunny and my first sighting of these,

The seasons do seem to be shifting back - colder in December than January/February. Summer in April/May. Wet and grey for the rest of the year.

I know it's spring here as the farmers are muck spreading in the fields along my commute. Consequently my bike and cycling clothes smell of chicken / cow muck.

I will mostly be cycling with my mouth closed for the next week or so.

I do live in Spain with plentiful mountains, sunshine, beaches, skiing, tapas...... but you have a good selection of spiders there in the UK too ๐Ÿ˜‰

Round here the blackbirds are starting to sound off a bit more and the snowdrops and celandines are sticking their heads out. Won't trust it till February's done though.
