Well on the road side Specialized have made big on their relationship with McLaren in developing the Venge. However don't seem to be making the same play on working with Pete "Mr Crud" Tompkins in developing a new "DCD" that is being supplied on 2012 full suss bikes. Or am I mistaken in thinking there was any collaboration?
For the young out there the DCD was a Crud product in the early 90s. "Dave's Chain Device" it strapped on to your chainstay with your chain running over a roller to add tension to the chain to reduce chain slap and suck.
