All I know is that if you catch anyting put it in a bag towed behind you on a bit string, not in a bag round your waist.

Ive done loads, but that was in the 70's in the Persian Gulf.
In the Med you will either be banned from it, or not find anything worth shooting unless you can freedive to 20m.
Its sadly fished out to be honest.
Maybe they breed and release fish to hunt a la the grouse industry.
You could come home with some nice trophies: three cod, four koi carp and a guppy.
