I've noticed there's been a bit of it about lately, it seems to be on the increase. I've reported two or three myself. I wonder why STWs getting hit more with it??

I've noticed a couple of other forums have been sufferer more recently.
I guess the spammers are a tenacious lot and have been improving their techniques.

Yep me too. I've reported 3 in the last 2 days.

Perhaps there should be some sort of bike related question for new applicants?
