Songs by bands you always thought did it originally but then found... didn't

I always thought this version of 'Do it' was originally and only by Rollins band, but listening to a Marc Riley Podcast about Psych music today, I just discovered that it wasn't. It was originally performed by the Pink Fairies it turns out.
