Hello
I have a little project at work. I’d like to take excerpts from maybe a dozen songs and mix them together. Does anyone have any suggestions for free software that would help me to do this?
- not too complicated, I don’t aim to become a pro DJ
- mp3 format would be best for me, I think
- I’d prefer Mac or iPad OS
- I need to save and export it

All suggestions gratefully received.

Audacity is good, garageband might do what you're after too

Are you looking to keep the songs in time with each other?

Traktor DJ 2 is free so I'd look at that over audacity

Doh! I didn't think of Garageband.

I might have a try with Audacity anyway, it looks like fun.

disco_stu (great name) I don't need to beat match - probably better if each song doesn't 'mix' with the one before.

Anyway, thanks for the info - something there will do what I need.

Yes Garageband or Audacity should handle that.
