Really enjoyed that. I've been lucky enough to explore a very small part of the wilderness system in Montana, so it brought back some memories. I really wish the American idea of wilderness included mountain bikes too.

The guys from 31' used up a couple of their nine lives there. I enjoy ski mountaineering and inflatable kayaking but carrying ski gear in a kayak or an inflatable kayak while skiing. Properly nuts and very strong.

I wasn't sure what the outcome was going to be there. The river looked to be in spate, unimaginable in a heavily loaded pack raft .

Might be of interest to the paddlers out there, The National Film Board of Canada have a lot of content online (and iPad app) with loads of Bill Mason stuff like Song of the Paddle, etc. I've not got around to watching it all yet.
