MegaSack DRAW - This year's winner is user - rgwb
We will be in touch
Just had the Police around, my neighbour has just been bundled out of his Range Rover Sport by 3 men and they have made good their getaway..
Now, no-one has seen or heard anything, he lives pretty close say 5 yards from my living room to his driveway, so, we hear no shouting or anything.. very strange
I doubt they will get very far though as his car spewed oil everywhere 3 weeks ago and has been doing so since and he couldn't afford to get it fixed...... 😯 Still he has good insurance.....
Repossession?
"No strings" relationship gone a wee bit wrong?
Get some bombers ordered, just in case like..
have spare bombers going cheap
If they are going cheep, they're probably baby robins...
Insurance job then 🙂
maybe he was hoping you would follow the oil trail, hardy boys style.
wwaswas, nail and head I believe, and it wouldn't be the first time, so fuggin annoyed about it as well, may have a chat with a mate who is in Uniform for GMP
Yep deffo insurance job, thank him from me for driving my insurance up 🙄

I don't think that you should jump to conclusions.. I've been the victim of an aggravated burglary and in the first moments it was an almost silent thing only punctuated by the sounds of a struggle.. it took a while before the shouting started..
don't know if this was due to panic or adrenalin etc.. it was quite surreal
Something afoot next door
= 12 inch = pinched.
lol
Wow this forum is great. Obviously you should tell the police what you know [ f all] but you should all help them solve other crimes with your special internet power of totally jumping to conclusions form the minimum of information.
Junkyard tut tut. Have you not seen Sherlock?
totally jumping to conclusions
terrifying really isn't it.. I hope he's not my neighbour

*sorry too tempting*
Range Rover Sport
Drug dealer obviously.
There have been 2 break ins and 1 car theft on this street, all befalling to the same person, his car spewed oil 3 weeks ago and he hasn't been using it, today he uses it and it gets forcibly stolen off his drive as he gets home, yet he does not keep regular hours...
To right I'm suspicious
Nail him to the stake, he has been found guilty 😆
yet he does not keep regular hours...
I am starting to build an image of this miscreant, does he wear a fur coat and a purple fedora, and walk with the assistance of a silver topped cane?
Depending what kind of characters this bloke deals with it might be you that gets a visit off three blokes in the night! 🙄

Repeat breakins at the same premises is not uncommon. Assailant knows the layout, knows the security (which often is only slightly improved each time) and the old stuff the nick gets replaced with brand new stuff. Car thefts are often linked to house break ins since its much easier to nick the keys than the car itself. May be they were looking for something specific (like the car keys) which is why the house got done twice. Rangerover Sport sounds like the sort of vehicle that would be quite nickable (in terms of value). Rangerover sport and "keeps irregular hours" sounds like the soft of person who might have some "interesting" business dealings and might well encounter the type of character who resolves disputes/debts without recourse to the courts! Nothing in there says "insurance job" to me.

Neither do I. I was abducted once too, and it was a distinctly non-shouty affair, very strange and surreal indeed. Faced with circumstance where you may be severely disfigured or even killed (as two victims of the same MO were in previous weeks I later learned) you don't react at all the way you'd imagine you might. Its not like the movies you know
