Might be coincidence, might not, but for the last 48 hours or so every female presenter on the BBC news channel seems to be dressed in black, and males in dark suits. Is it just that all their summer gear is still at the cleaners after Glastonbury or are they jumping the gun on an important announcement? Seems a bit mawkish to put mourning wear on in anticipation if that's what's going on.
