Why is it, when I order a new Skoda on March 31st, am told it'll be here Aug 31st, yet a colleague orders the same model 3 weeks later is told it's just been delivered!
Wouldn't have been 1/2 as bad, but the MoT has run out on my old car, and has just failed needing a raft of welding! Grrrrr

If you order factory extras it always takes an age. If you get a bog standard car they have millions sat at the docks..
Just think of all the extra miles you'll be able to clock up on the bike...

Told them I'm considering cancelling the order and buying 2nd hand elsewhere, to see if it changes their response.

I was going to suggest looking on briskoda but it seems you've had the same moan on there... looks like your mate got a pre- or cancelled order, as there is no way they turn orders around that quickly. I'd say wait for the Octavia, you won't be disappointed. I'm not with mine.
