31 trolls surely. Ebay seller will be faced with a big invoice and probably have their ebay/paypal accounts suspended. Not such a clever dick idea really.

I dont use ebay a great deal, but if they bid they buy? Thats pretty mucg the deal.

It clearly states "picture".

Am I missing something or is this utter madness.

I don't really get it - why is that ad an issue and why are people bidding such huge amounts??

Mmmm, I think he makes it pretty clear it's a picture, so in the extremely unlikely event (I hope) they're 'legit' bids I suspect the buyer will be getting a large invoice! Can always refuse it, and take the negative feedback if the seller really wanted to!

n***s (present bidder)* has no other bid history... either they're up for the joke, or are about to have a bad introduction to the Ebay world...

EDIT * I think...
EDIT Sorry - was just the 30 day summary.

Well obviously, my point more that the seller (even if not the buyer) is presumably in it for a joke, and will likely just forget it, rather than actually leave negative feedback saying "he bid £80k for my fake item and didn't pay, the rotter".

njee I hadnt even thought of the feedback! Great point.

It has to be a wind up.

And I will take "rotter" any day of the week, not heard that for a long time.

aww!! it appears to be removed, however this one is still available

I don't know who Ben Ainslie is, and I can only imagine the offers that have been made (such as "go **** yourself")
