it was blowing a gale up on the hill, but not overly cold, about -2. quite gusty with an average wind speed of 15mph. LOADS of nice fluffy, powdery new snow.

showed my mate the ropes and he had a go at flying. was quite hairy. even with me hanging onto the harness we were getting lofted 2-3m.

unfortunately the battery ran out and matey didn't realise there was another battery in the bag. he built a 2m high snowman instead.

Coburg Flugplatz.

guessing you don't where that is so i'll narrow it down..... Northern Bavaria, Germany. home of Victoria's husband, Albert. hence the Saxe-Coburg Gotha surname of the royal family.
