The paper was saying it will be a nasty winter like in 2010/11. Thankfully I will be in sunny Kiwiland working on my tan for most of it.
Not particularly cold, but I got battered by hail on the way back from Bangor. Still - got me over some post-meeting griping.

Was caught in a snowstorm in the south of France last week. Admittedly, it was at 2700m on Col de la Bonette!

They said that last year too, yet it was positively tropical on the whole. I blame that nobber at exactaweather...
