Had my first ever game tonight. Jesus it's a frustrating game! I was rubbish, apallingly bad. I'm quite the dab hand at pool but this long range stuff is difficult. In three games my top break was 7. Oh the shame.
Aye, it isn't easy, but after a few weeks hanging around a decent snooker hall, it'll feel very natural. And when you go back to pool it'll feel like trying to cycle a kids' bike (and you'll whip everyone).
Well I have been quite the shark recently (seven balling and all) but stepping up to the big table my shots were feet out rather inches. If only I'd miss-spent my youth...
extremely hard game, i go once a week or so for a few frames, still feel mighty impressed with myself if i can manage a break of 15! but as said, pool is so much easier when you go back to it! snooker really is a game where you need to practice every day to get good at it, not something i ever see myself doing, still enjoy it though! pound for a bottle of beer in my club helps too!:D
