Thinking of walking up in a couple of weeks but as I'm a southern fairy... will it have snow on it?

Hi guys

Me and a group going to Wales this weekend and there is talk about doing Snowdon on the mountain bikes weather permitting....is it rideable at the minute? Or should we give it a miss?

Lots of snow on Snowdon today, looking at a video taken by Coastguard helicopter doing a job on Crib Goch- see Facebook, search Llanberis MRT or Maritime and Coastguard Agency.

Cycled past Cadair Idris today on the road. Still lots of snow up top.

Snowdon will be a no go without axe and crampons I reckon. Let alone a bike.

There was an avalanche on it last week.

How about now - this weekend. Looks like a nice day for it.

Options:
1- You would be out of your depth - Ice axe and significant snow cover
2 - pretty but not dangerous - some snow about but paths largely clear
3 - all melted mate
