I always thought that was a clever design @jaminb , but they seemed a bit flimsy to me. Are they well made? Do the tools work nicely?
I had one for a while, I think it was branded "The Bug" and I have half a memory that it was in a range with similar budget keyring tools like a torch or a bottle-opener or a capsule you can keep an emergency tenner in. It wasn't terrible but wasn't particularly good either. As the recommenderer suggests, it was probably worth three quid.
Have few of these multitools and somehow Gerber stuff has always been disappointing to me. I am sitting on a remote meeting now, have Gerber Splice and a broken Dime in on my desk and this Splice sure is low quality item. Dime is slightly better quality wise but end bolt broke of on a stubborn screw.
I have Leatherman Style PS on my riding pack, it is light but use probably limited to opening tubeless valve nuts and holder for tweezers. That one has been discontinued too.
