Anyone here work for a utility that installs gas supplies?
We've been trying to get a gas supply into an industrial unit that we rent for months now. The road has been dug up and pipe supplied to the meter cabinet, the new cabinet is on the wall. We've got our own requirements ready internally.
Being the UK, it seems to need another company to come out and install the actual meter! They came and promptly left straight away as they say there is no live gas to the meter cabinet. The original contractors now seem to want to dig up the road again but why!!??
I would have thought this was just a valve that needs opening somewhere? Surely there's nothng under the road that will dictate whether the supply is live or not?
Dealing with 4 different organisations and all blame each other...
