We will be in touch
I have to label our stock boxs and being a long way in the air the ladies in our shop say they can't read it. To be fair I don't wield a pen gracefully.
I could type it all out to print but I'm rubbish at making all the words fit on a page.
Is there an app where I can write something take picture or scan it and have it magically transformed into something legible?
How big does the text need to be - would something like a Dymo labeller be easier?
Letters an inch high on an a4 sheet.
Need to do 30 boxes so a demo might prove expensive.
Is it that hard to type something into Word in a nice bold font like Arial Black, set it to centre and adjust the font size so it fits? I feel you may be overthinking this!!
Yes!
Is there an auto adjust on the font size? I'm using pages on an iPad.
I type something and it fits on one line. The next line is one letter longer so it then goes on to two lines.
I want it all to stay on one line. Before you ask I am ****ing useless on a computer.
.
So I see.
If you type it all up in Word, then select the text, you can use ctrl-] and ctrl-[ to resize the text up and down so it fits.
TBH though I'd probably do that once for the longest label and then stick with the same font size for the rest. It'll look scabby if they're all different sizes.
Use a sharpie and take your time with big block capitals?
Never used it so not a recommendation as such but a quick google shows there's a free Avery label-maker app (Avery Design & Print) on the app store. No doubt comes with templates for their pre-cut labels.
Plenty of other apps too e.g. Label Printer.
