I have given in and bought my first pair of slippers...not boring flat ones....but big fluffy (mens) ankle boots....they look a bit girly....but my god they are warm....
Anyone else have any embarrassing slippers ?
I was bought a pair of these last christmas, they are fantastic. Might look pretty silly but they sure stop chilly feet.

I got these whist serving in Norway , lovely and warm with a hard sole too which was utilized when in snowy Bosnia to walk to the bar 😉

my grandmother has a similar pair...
plastic/foam slip ons i got at a french spa for 4 euros
still going strong after 3 years, that's longer then any other pair of slippers i've owned!
ditto bigsurfer - only things that have managed to keep my feet warm while relaxing in front of the TV!
Got another pair on my Xmas list (the ones I have stink - DO NOT EVER WASH THEM!!
I wish I could find some more our lass wants some but I can't make out the writing on the sole , not helped by it being in Norwegian
if i owned a pair of slippers that couldn't be washed they'd be walking under their own power in a matter of weeks!
