Has anyone made the move from Sky to Freesat.? I see there's a Freesat HD box out now that can record too. No subscriptions. I was wondering what the interface was like. My telly's HD but I've never used it for HD before and I can't justify paying for a Sky HD box, plus another tenner a month for it.

mate at work has done just this..
by all accounts if you go for the humax foxsat hd thing the interface is as good as sky+
I think there are only 4 HD channels on freesat at the moment but more to come

do it you'll save a fortune!

I have freesat, I don't think I've watched it since setting up the telly though.
If I didn't have Virgin I would use it though, so if you want to save money then its the way to go, check out screwfix for the £40 dish & decoder deal if you want really cheap.

Got Freesat, all good, got the PVR too which is excellent. Why pay the megacorporate evil empire that is Sky when you can get it free from freesat?

Because you get more content on the evil Sky?
Or less if you just want freeview 😉
