with sky plus hd is it possiable in the planner to put the recorded programmes at the bottom of the list, with the programmes on the planner coming on at the top?

you use different coloured buttons for planner and tv guide, I don't think you can get both on the same screen - is that what you mean ?
You can get straight to the "upcoming" and recent recordings by using the channel up button once you're on the planner section (it scrolls straight on to the "last" screen that way)
Sorry, let me try to explain a bit better.
When in the planner screen, it lists the programmes that have been recorded first, then you scroll down to the programmes to be viewed or recorded in the future, now we want to have them the other way around, so we can see what we have planned to watch before what has been recorded

but see above; once you've moved the highlight down on to the 1st (oldest) recorded programme, press the "up channel" button and you'll go "up" to the bottom of the whole list, where the newest stuff sits
