Did anyone watch the Human Planet last night?

To start with Mrs said 'ooh, I would like a sky burial'. Wasn't so keen once she had found out what one was!

Best thing on TV at the moment.

Yep, I posted on the "Australia not an island" thread.

Gonna be contacting my will people to have mine changed from a woodland burial to a sky burial. What a way to go! 🙂

Thought the undertaker seemed like a character.

"The Llama's cannot do what I do. They have to give me whisky."

Why, what did she think the downside was?

One of those rare programs that entertains, informs and amazes - Another cracking episode last night.

I actually thought the sky burial was quite a positive idea - empty vessel benefiting others etc. Not much worse than being incinerated really 😕

I think that the prospect of being dismembered by a drunken Kazakh didn't sit well with her sensibilities. Personally got no problem but I think she was expecting the guy to be catapulted into a volcano or something both epic and cute. 😕

I Reckon you could get a similar result with all the red kites around Princes Risborough and the Chilterns.

Come FC Privatisation, I could buy a little wood and stake peoples bodies out in the open for the Kites to come in and polish off - could be a nice little business venture 😆

was interesting to say the least liked it when he got the axe out

Liked the argument about it being good Karma as well

Seems as good as being nurried in the ground or eaten slowly over time by maggots

why do people who would essentially be dead not like the thought of what is happening to them when they're dead? what/who is it that would be having the thought?

I like the idea of a Norse Funeral. Dead me, on a massive boat with all the stuff I treasure (bike, guitar, xbox and mrsbunk). Set it alight and push it off to sea. Beautiful.

😈

Is she dead yet or doesn't it matter?
