When are we going to get one, would make viewing on a mobile so much easier?

Really? On which mobile?
The site is pretty good on my Iphone, but a dedicated app for the forums could be nice.

I offered to do an Android app for Chipps a while ago.
Chipps - any interest? Drop me a line...

Cheers,
Nick

I use the forum all day from my phone. No app required, but a mobile-friendly version of the site might be nice (and I believe this has been considered in the past).

I'm on an I phone and agreed it is ok but it's the constant resizing of the screen thats a pain. Maybe a mobile friendly site would do the job; I'm sure ad more and more people get I phones, android phones etc this is going to become more of am issue.
Since I got my phone I'm finding I'm using my laptop a lot less, or using my phone a lot to browse the web?

I dont find it a problem on Android....

apart form the number of adverts and the bloody Amazon advert that sends you to their webpage !

I could see however that creating an app would perhaps increase the readership...especially if they put porn or xxx in the name for Android searches etc.

I find it quite good on my iPod touch.
If you don't like it have you tried using the RSS feed?

? double-tap, job done. Hardly a pain for me.

Or just use it landscape and you don't even need to resize to read it comfortably.

if it only worked for premier users, that could be a tidy incentive?

Mr nut
That's not a bad idea?
A little revenue for singletrack and a better experience for the reader. The other option would be a small charge to download an app, not sure how many people would take that up though, hmmm

I quite like it on the iphone, don't have any problems as such. Other forums I have used in the past have used an app that converts it into a friendly version but rather it be free!
