If you can't kick a man when he is down, when can you kick him?

Wow.....is that an original Crud 'race guard' on the back of your bike sfb??
I thought I was the only one left with one of those. Mine's splitting quite badly now...

Anyway, nice pic but do you really need your lunchbag quite so close your your mouth??

I don't think that's his lunchbox in there, it hides his telescopic lens

yes. BTW, they have a lifetime warranty 🙂 But even with my destructive abilities I've not managed to break it (yet). It's a shame they changed the design 🙁

I wasn't mocking her! The first thing she said when she could talk again was "Did you get that?" :o)

it's not an original crud guard, i have one with 2 stays that attach to the frame near the drop outs, bit dog chewed now though

rocketdog....they used to do the one you mention....as well as the Race Guard at the same time. Can't remember what that one was called with the wire bits that connected to the frame, but it was more of a commuter-y guard than a rad & gnarly off-road mud deflecting device...... 😉

sfb, your camera bag looks a little bulky? How do you find it (not literally) when riding?? I am thinking of getting one of these:

http://www.cliftoncameras.co.uk/Think_Tank_Digital_Holster_10
and one of their chest harnesses

I tried one at the Focus on Imaging exhibition this yr and it feels very secure. You can adjust where the bag sits on your body, so you can have it low down or right up on your chest. The straps should be discrete enough that they don't get in the way of my rucksack.....hopefuly.

it just fits the gap between my chin and the top stroke of my knees when climbing steeply, and now I'm used to it I rarely notice it at all when riding. It clips with karabiners to my pack straps
