A friend (honest) asks how she can turn off the sound the phone makes after it has sent a text. Apparently it's so loud it grasses her up for secret texting 🙂 I'm guessing this is the "text delivered" sound - I don't have the phone with me to check

Tried to turn mine off for ages. I found out that it was the PAYG balance notification, which is set by the network with no option to turn it off! It does it after phonecalls too... The only way to get around it is fully silent.
E: mine is a 6230 (read it wrong - it is late - i am tired) but it could be the same thing.
