Stoner you must be single, lucky or a dominating husband unless you've staged that pic while the Mrs is out.

Although you forgot the bike jauntily propped against the wall...,

Stoner's coffee pot has got me all misty eyed.

That's commitment to the beverage alright.

aye kryton ... if your mrs is anything like mine - 95% of that log pile would be on the fire even if its full ....

i solve this issue by keeping them in the shed. The act of going to the shed is hard work 😀

I confess a little staged shot. Just brought 300Kg of wood in for the boiler and the fire for the Christmas period during a lovely sunny day this week. The pile starts shrinking pretty quickly so thought Id grab a snap while fully loaded.

And staged for this:

come on you lot, get your colouring pencils out!

Not to mention his wood

That's a given.

He really measures up in that department, does Stoner.

Me I had to take it all out a few years ago, bstard jackdaw built a nest in the chimney, even had to break into the chimney breast to take out all the twicgs and stuff.

Two questions:
DR - what he hell is that all over the top of the stove and around the flue?
Stoner - why did you go twin wall straight from the stove when you could have got more heat from singlewall, purely aesthetic reasons?

its not. Its single wall to within x diameters of the ceiling when it changes to twin. It then goes up through the ceiling and the corridor above (acting as a radiator) before going through the 1st floor ceiling and roof.[img] [/img]

Around the flue is fire cement bit of a leakage thing going on.
Top of the stove is missing enamel, wife has a habit of opening the bottom and forgetting she has done it. Result is a hot stove, in fact if the light is off it glows red.

wind up heres been so strong that even with the door on the stove shut and the vents shut the draw on my chimney has the air drawing round the door ropes - which are all in good nick.

flue thermometor was sitting at 800degrees last night and all i could do was take the eco fan off and wait for the fuel to burn down.
