Not so bonkers as you feared for your ears. Just a bit off kilter.

Used to be an awesome one down West Street opposite Mappin Street.
Proper old school... 'something for the weekend sir?'

10 years ago mind, and I hear West St has changed somewhat!

I think the one on West Street is still there. It has a barbers pole outside it. Its at the very bottom on the same side as Lloyds and just up the road from lloyds (the bar, not the bank).

Alternatively there is Scott's on the Wicker.

I used to be a T&T regular but haven't been in a few years.

Also went to a ropey cypriot fella in Broomhill who only knew one style - a big swept-across side parting. I felt like Alan Partridge.

It's Hengers on West St people are referring to. Used to go there as a student. Was an old polish guy who did short back and sides no matter what you asked for. I think it's his son now. Possibly still has a stripey pole up outside.
I tend to go to either of the 2 walk in barbers in broomhill- hair all day or scotts, whichever has the least people waiting at the time.
About £6 I think

To be honest mate, it's more likely that no barber can chop back your lego-style bog brush head 🙂
