For me that's the thing. The real artistry lies with the artisans that created it in the first place. Their selection of material, I'd imagine it's siting, it's proportions and it's fitness for purpose are infinitely more creative than transplanting it into a gallery space. It's cultural theft in my eyes. Put it back where it belongs and celebrate it there.

I agree. An Evil Dead Shed wouldn't work in The Tate.

McM, Have you thought about building an Evil Shed? You could keep your chain saws in it.
