Cash Converters just after Xmas, when people who've stupidly overspent need cash to pay their bills. A mate of mine gets all his electronic stuff like this, and has saved a fortune. Half the time the stuff's still in warranty, too (people often leave receipts in the boxes).
The Sainsburys here (Cardiff) are selling the PS3 slim 160gb for £200. Seems like a good price.

Play.com has a 320gb Slim and MOVE gubbins for £260 and a Move game for a futher £15.
The second hand option is good as you save a lot of money, but PS3s are fairly temperamental so I'd want the safety of a replacement that buying new gives you. Probably not worth waiting for Xmas bundles as they're often made up of crap games IMO.
If you're going to wait, I'd wait till after Christmas. December is the worst time to bargain hunt for what should be fairly obvious reasons (-:

I'm not sure there has been many problems with the new slim version. Certainly had no problems with mine.
Anyone got a Move controller? Any good?
Yeah, got the move controller when it was launched.. It works really well!
The problem is that there aren't many games yet that use it. (Well not games that I like anyway)
So far the only game I have got for move is sport champions which really showcases how good the controllers are.
Going to get 'the shoot' at some point as the demo was good fun.
