Just wet here in Rutland. Croyde yesterday was predicted as getting over double overhead waves, today it's 1 ft. Is it rough anywhere else or might it be a Michael Fish moment?

Michael Fish Moment?...a Daily Express moment more like

Met Office have a Yellow warning in place....2 stages down from the most severe type and 1 up from no weather at all.

Media might have been going nuts for last week...but the Met Office hasn't.

Been quite sedate this morning on the South Coast, just drizzle and blustery but its just gone up a notch in the past 30 minutes, fairly windy and heavy rain now.

Lifeboat just went out as well but hopefully something boring/routine.

Just rain in the Hope Valley.
No decent waves to speak of.
Like riding in the rain, off out later.

Localised flooding in Nottingham. Just had a call from the wife asking for the best driving technique for flood water. She thought I was joking when I said to walk it with a stick first. I think she's decided to come the long way home instead.

Sunny start with a little hail later on today, now dark and cold - Tasmania.

I did hear that the Sudan are thinking of having a whip round and sending you all some tents and bags of flour to help you cope with the 1st world disasters 🙂

I just watched my neighbours cat, Buffy, get cleaved clean in two by a series of massive rail drops.

Ok, slight exaggeration, but it was quite hard rain 😉

Some pretty substantial rain in Glastonbury. It doesn't matter though; it stopped while Robert Plant was on 😀

Persisted it down in belper Derbyshire all morning but nothing major. However was at a wedding near chesterfield on Friday, the rain flooded the gents toilets and left one big 2 inch puddle over the whole car park.

In a word, NO! Its been a bit wet and a bit windy though judging from the The Poppet Dog's face when I shoved her out for a wee earlier it was acid rain!

No real rain for months this summer, so the ground should sponge this mornings 3 hour heavy down pour up, but if it goes on for another week may well see some gloopy trails return 🙁

Could get used to these dry dusty summers everyyear

Cambs.

Just got back from walking the dog in local woods and it was biblical.

In hindsight, heavy rain, lightening, strong gusts and woods was probably not the best idea.

Lot of the country roads were on their way to being underwater as well.

Salford.

15.5 deg. C
982 mbar (falling)
0.00 mph
Sunny intervals.

So no.
According to the Met Office, we're going to be hit
by a wet and wild thunderstorm around 15:00.

I'll show my arse in Burton's window if that happens.

According to the Meeja. Bollocks! Rained a bit last night, cloudy and occasional [s]meatballs[/s] showers this morning, went out for a walk this afternoon, a couple of brief showers, got rather windy, but lots of sunshine.
