I was finally sent home this afternoon. First day off after everybody else has enjoyed a snow siesta all week. TBH haven't really done any work as it was too dangerous to go out, so sat around in the office. Boring. Has anybody else "worked" the whole week?

Despite what BBC say, the whole country has not been covered in waist deep snow. We haven't seen any at all, so yes, I've worked the whole week, along with everyone else inside a 40 mile radius of here.

If you listened to the BBC this morning, there was only snow in the South of England, never mind that the whole of Grampian has been snow-bound for two days with many major roads closed. We just get on with it though.

I've been in all week.

Well I 'worked from home' on Tuesday because the council decided it was too dangerous to open the schools.

Rudeboy: I work on the Grand Union north of Watford and I am on the customer ops team. Basically make sure everything is running smoothly on the canal.
I quite often ride the towpath(my commute to work) and the scenery is lovely up 'ere(spesh at the moment with all the snow). Also very close to Ashridge and Wendover.

I've worked all week - it's been ok all week in Aberdeen... We've just been told to go home now though as it's been heavily snowing for about three hours.

Yep worked all week but then i'm off tomorrow morning. Rugby pitches are frozen solid so no reffing of school boy rugby for me.

Prep for 6 nations, long lie in and liquid lunch.

Snowed in for the last 5 days (since waking up on Monday morning to find a world of white). Do live in a field on the side of Snowdon though, so not that surprising, but still the longest I've ever been snowed in for.

(Un)fortunately am able to work from home ... but have still had lots of pre-9am and post 5pm snow fun 🙂

yup, been in all week, made it into town on the bus this morning, bus fishtailed all the way in and then they cancelled the bus service so I had to walk the other mile to work.
In tomorrow aswell (well probably)

Despite the media coverage that makes it look like every teacher in the land gets the day off as soon as a single flake of snow falls from the sky, I've been at work all week and College has been open all week.
